RDM Trail Race

Event Flyer

Race Information

Come spend a morning with us enjoying Gods creation in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountain range. Runners, Ruckers, and Hikers are all welcome!

The course is a single 5 mile loop, of technical single track trail. The 5k route is the same, but cuts off the last 2 miles, and the 10 mile route is the 5 mile loop twice. The start and finish is in the parking lot between the football field and covered pickle ball courts in the Trussville Sports Complex. The vast majority, 90-95%, of the route is on the trails. There are multiple switch backs, elevation, and scenery changes throughout the course. There will be two aid stations one near the halfway mark, and the other at the end/beginning of the loop.

Trail shoes or hiking boots are highly recommended (depending on your pace group) because there are roots and rocks aplenty throughout.
There is a cap off of 125 competitors between all 3 distances (5k, 5 mile, 10 mile).

Packet Pickup will be the morning of the race starting at 7:00am.
