Who We Are

Rain Down Ministries of Alabama exists to make disciples of Christ through outdoor ministry. We believe God has a design for hunting and conservation. Also, we believe an understanding of God’s design for hunting and conservation leads us to a greater understanding of God’s grace found in Christ. 

Our message is derived from our mission and includes three foundational truths from Scripture. These truths also reveal God’s design for wildlife conservation.

 1. Creation is a gift to enjoy 

- Creation is a blessing from God. (Gen. 1:28) 

- We honor God when we recognize his handiwork. (Ps. 19:1) 

2. Creation is a responsibility to steward 

- God provides for our physical needs through creation. (Gen. 1:28-29) 

- God’s provision is determined by our hard work. (Gen. 2:15) 

3. Through creation God reminds us of his grace in Christ 

- Adam and Eve attempted to use creation to cover their sin. (Gen. 3:7) 

- God covered their sin with the skin of an innocent animal. (Gen. 2:21) 

These three truths guide how we approach our programming as well as how we practice wildlife conservation. We believe there is a direct correlation between how we approach wildlife stewardship and how we approach life.
